    OFFICIAL NOTICE – COURSE FEE VERIFICATION PROCEDURE

    Dear All Students,

    PLEASE NOTE: Students who have already settled all due payments and maintain up-to-date payment records may disregard this notice.

    Finance records of Saegis Campus indicate that a number of students have outstanding course fee payments that are not in accordance with their agreed payment plans.

    In order to strengthen fee monitoring and ensure compliance with payment policies, the Finance Department has implemented a Payment Verification Check-in Desk at the campus entrance, effective from 10th February 2026.

    Accordingly, all students are required to produce one of the following at the Check-in Desk:

    • Valid payment receipt, or
    • Proof of online payment or fund transfer (digital or printed copy), or
    • PSM number for verification

    Please be informed that those students who have outstanding payments (up-to-date) and/or those unable to produce payment receipts or valid proof, may not be permitted to enter the campus with immediate effect.

    Please Note: Students facing financial difficulties or any verification disputes are advised to contact the Finance Department promptly for assistance.

    This procedure has been implemented to ensure proper financial administration, maintain institutional sustainability, and support uninterrupted academic operations.

    Medical Justification form

    Dear Students,
    Please be informed that, for all future semester end-examinations medical submissions, it is mandatory to complete the Online Medical Justification Form attached herewith. Please carefully follow the instructions below in the proper order. 
    1. All details provided in the Online Medical Justification Form must be accurate and true.
    2. A separate medical justification form must be submitted for each module. Ex: If you are applying medicals for two modules, you must submit two separate forms (one per module).
    3. The Online Medical Justification Form must be submitted within 14 days from the respective examination date.
    4. The original medical certificate along with a photocopy must be submitted to the Examination Department within 14 days from the respective examination date.
    5. Students who fail to submit the Online Medical Justification Form and submit the original copy of the medical certificate along with a photocopy within 14 days from the respective examination date will not be considered as having submitted a valid medical application.
    Validity of Medical Certificate: As per examination procedures, the medical certificate must be issued by a Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) registered Medical Practitioner/Dental Surgeon attached to a recognized hospital, registered medical center, or recognized Ayurvedic medical center.
    Please ensure that all requirements are fulfilled within the given timeframe.

    The deadline for calling applications for the Vice Chancellor's Awards and Dean’s Awards for the Academic year 2024-2025 has been extended until 14th October 2025.

    Vice Chancellor's Awards and Dean’s Awards are open for students eligible for General Convocation 2025 and shall submit their duly filled applications with the supporting documents to the Registrar’s Office on or before 14th October 2025.

    Application and Selection Criteria are available on Saegis LMS.

    We are glad to announce that Applications have been called for the Vice Chancellor's Awards and Dean’s Awards for the Academic year 2024-2025 to recognize the students who have excelled extraordinarily in academic performance, talents, and extracurricular activities.

    Students from each faculty will be considered for these awards. The selected students will be awarded at the Annual General Convocation scheduled to be held on Thursday 20th November 2025 at the BMICH, Colombo.
